After some rumors that had been spread yesterday HBO confirms today that actor Nick Offerman will join the cast of The Last of Us as Bill, the skilled mechanic who will help Joel and Ellie in their escape. Con O’Neill was initially given the role, but he had to turn down due to a conflict with other work commitments.
While some videos show Joel in a danger scene, now comes the confirmation that Bill’s character will be played by Nick Offerman, famous in America for his role as Ron Swanson in Parks & Recreation. Offerman will be joined by Murray Bartlett, who will play Frank, the partner with whom he survived in the city of Lincoln.
Inside the game Frank’s tragic end is only explained in the letters, thus leaving ample space for the series to be able to deepen the relationship between these two characters, and the reasons that led them to split up. At the moment no further information has been released regarding his role or his scenes, which will most likely be shot in the course of 2022.
Currently filming the first season of The Last of Us are taking place in America, but without any information on when the series will be released or when we will be able to see a trailer, leaving all the fans waiting. Naughty Dog for its part has repeatedly hinted at the arrival of news regarding video games, such as the possible arrival of an online multiplayer version, according to a recent job search.
