The largest public job offer in Correos: date of the entrance exams and salary

Correos’ largest public job offer will incorporate 7,757 new people into its staff. Thus, it becomes the largest call in decades for the company. Initially, 5,377 positions were announced, which have now been expanded by 2,380 positions corresponding to the Stabilization Plan, Law 20/2021. This expansion is the result of dialogue with the trade union organizations that are participating in the current negotiation process within the company’s commitment to continuous social dialogue.

This process for the entry of indefinite labor personnel brings together the 2020 and 2021 calls for positions and the stabilization process, to cover 7,757 positions in professional group IV (Operational Personnel). The job offer includes the operative positions corresponding to Delivery, Agent-Classification and Customer Service. Thus, Correos published in February the shortlisted to cover 3,381 indefinite positions.

When will the entrance exams be held?

From the company they explain that the management of this new employment consolidation process will be carried out in two different phases. Initially, the selection system, planned tests and evaluation of merits will be established. In a second phase, the offer of jobs and their distribution will be announced, and the period for submitting applications will be opened.

The reference document of the contents of the agenda will be free and will be published next November. The evaluation of the merits will be carried out on December 31, except for training courses and the accreditation of language skills, which will be carried out on February 20, 2023.

According to forecasts, the applicants will be examined in March 2023. At the moment they have not set the exact day, but it is already known that it will be at the beginning of next year when the call that has been open since 2020 is finally resolved. Postal employee salary

The salaries of Correos employees are based on their collective labor agreement. Depending on the position you hold and the work you do, the salary of the staff varies. These are the main categories included in your agreement and their corresponding salaries:

– Post Office Assistant: from 1,080 euros to 1,200 euros per month gross.

– Sorting and distribution personnel: from 1,100 to 1,300 euros per month gross.

– Official base: from 1,200 euros to 1,400 euros per month gross.

– Executive Post Office staff: from 1,300 euros to 1,500 euros per month gross.
