The trade union And Microsoft announced the agreement that will come into force 60 days after the finalization of the purchase between the two giants of the videogame world. The contract provides that Microsoft will remain “neutral” in the event that employees wish to form a union after the takeover and that the employees themselves will be able to easily exercise their right to communicate with other employees and union representatives about union membership, without this however, it hinders daily activities. In addition, the union and the company have agreed to work together to reach an agreement soon in the event of a conflict and to seek a speedy arbitration process if the differences cannot be resolved.
This type of agreement is a long way off for us Italians, who take it for granted that trade unions can access every company perimeter and workers join them without having to justify themselves with the company.
