There is people in the Comarca Lagunera who were born with special gifts and qualities which were natural to define your lifestyle, one of those people is without a doubt Ernesto de la O Flores, who to date he continues to dedicate his life to baseball, a sport that has given him everything.
Net, as friends say, was born on July 31, 1966 in Torreón, Coahuila, son of Ernesto de la O Ríos and Rosa María Flores Guerrero, married to Yolanda Fraire Figueroa with whom He has three children, Miguel Ángel, 21, Carolina Estefanía, 20, and Ana Victoria, 19.
It was around the age of three when he did his pinnacles in baseball, when his father takes him to the Sertoma Children’s Stadium, which had been inaugurated in 1963.
Despite starting at a very young age, he faced players older than him, militant in La Laguna tradition teams, years later he joined more teams, such as the multi-champion Perforators.
At the age of 9 and 10 he went to national series of the Pe wee category, in the Leagues program Small of Williamsport in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, as well as in the national series of Leagues Small the Reyna category of 11 and 12 years old in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
It was in 1978 representing La Laguna in the city of Veracruz, where category 11 and 12 years was crowned in the II Sports and Cultural Games of the Revolution endorsed by the CODEM, what today is the format of Olympiad FEMEBE and Conadde.
In the year 1980, Neto made his debut in the first team of Primera Fuerza de los Vaqueros 5 Brothers, he did it at the catcher, where the manager, Amador Quiroga, gave him confidence and subsequently they were crowned champions of the League of Employees and Professionals. In that same year he debuted in the Major League in the 80-81 season, at the age of 14 and 15 years.
In the 1980s he played in a good number of teams such as Mecánica Mundo Hermanos Sierra, Hermanos Ceballos, Velardeña, Lobos of the UAdeC and Channel 4, the latter resulting champion in the season 88-89.
From his debut in 1980 until 2007, he played in the Major League as a player and manager finishing in the 2006-07 season with Centenarios de Torreón.

It was in 2000 when his eldest son was born and that is when he returned to his roots in La Liga Sertoma, This in 2003, in 2005 he created a club called Diablillos, a name chosen by the parents of family and which was filled with children from 5 to 14 years old.
Today he only directs a category of 17 and 18 years old, but in all the previous years he was as a manager and delegate at FEMEBE national championships and district championships, regional and national Little League program affiliated with Williamsport, Pennsylvania that since 2007 they return with a franchise for the Sertoma League.
Ernesto de la O is currently the coordinator of district 28 of region 3 of the Leagues program. Pequeñas de la República Mexicana also collaborates with the Asociación Lagunera de Beisbol.
