Felipe VI will visit the facilities of the Navy unit, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary, at the Arsenal; it’s his third official trip to the city in four months
King Felipe VI will visit next Thursday, September 2, the facilities of the Mine Action Force at the Military Arsenal of Cartagena, on his third visit to the city in four months. The previous two were to attend, together with Queen Letizia and her two daughters, the Princess of Asturias and the Infanta Sofía, the launching of the submarine S-81 ‘Isaac Peral’ in Navantia, in April, and the inauguration of the Roman Forum Museum, in May.
The Navy is already working on preparations for the new official trip. The forecast is that it will start in the building in the Arsenal, where the Force is based. Later, Felipe VI will go to the Algameca Naval Station, to see an exhibition of material from the squadron in the open air.

There he will be received by the President of the Autonomous Community, Fernando López Miras, the Mayor of Cartagena, Noelia Arroyo and the Government Delegate in the Region of Murcia, José Vélez. Later he will embark on a mine hunter and attend a demonstration, according to what he learned THE TRUTH from sources of all solvency.
Based in Cartagena, the Mine Counter Measures Force (MCM) is constituted on the 1st Squadron of Minehunters and the MCM Divers Unit. It is made up of several NATO groupings. The King’s visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of the Force, celebrated with various events, such as an exhibition at the Naval Museum.
