The Prosecutor’s Office claimed for him the first reviewable permanent prison in the Region
Joaquín GV dispelled this Thursday the ghost of the reviewable permanent prison. A popular jury found the man suspected of murdering her 82-year-old great-aunt innocent when she allegedly tried to resist an attempted rape. This 41-year-old resident of Abarán, who faced the first reviewable permanent prison in the Region, breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing the verdict of the popular court, which understands that there is no evidence to place him at the scene of the crime.
In the first session of the hearing, Joaquín, who has been defended by the lawyer Pablo Martínez, denied that he ended the life of his great-aunt, María Velandrino, and that he tried to sexually attack her. “I respected my aunt,” he stressed. “I have not killed or raped anyone. What they are doing to me is nonsense.”
