The Investigative Court number 3 of Cartagena has summoned four doctors from the Santa Lucía hospital who treated Sara Gómez, the 39-year-old resident of Alcantarilla, who died after undergoing liposculpture, to testify as under investigation. In a ruling, to which LA VERDAD has had access, the magistrate orders the summons of these doctors for next May 10.
In that resolution, the judge also requires the Murcian Health Service (SMS) to, within a maximum period of ten days, identify the surgeons who were on duty on December 2, 2021, the date on which Sara Gómez arrived. to the Cartagena hospital from the Virgen de la Caridad clinic, where she was operated on. The magistrate also wants to know the data of the doctors who treated the woman until December 7 of that year, when she underwent surgery at Santa Lucía.
