The Israeli army: We shot down a plane that entered the airspace from Lebanon

Today, Friday, the Israeli army said it had shot down a drone that entered airspace from the Lebanese side.
“The Israeli Defense Forces monitored the drone at all times during the incident,” the army added in a statement.
Drones are deployed on the border in light of tension between Israel and the Lebanese Hezbollah. One of the parties also repeatedly announced the shooting down of drones of the other party.
There was no immediate comment from officials in Lebanon.
