The founders of the Alhama company, Juan Conesa and José Esteban Conesa, will continue to be the majority shareholders
The US investment fund Apollo is finalizing the purchase of 49% of the Alhama company for transporting refrigerated products Primafrio, as confirmed by sources from the Murcian group, who clarify that the operation is not yet closed. The investment fund plans to acquire 49% of the company, so its founders, Juan Conesa and José Esteban Conesa, will continue to be the majority shareholders.
Sources from this operation point out that the US investment “will help accelerate the company’s strategic growth plans, including investment in its infrastructure network and further international expansion.”
Both Juan Conesa and José Esteban Conesa, founders of the company, will maintain their positions as executive president and CEO, respectively, and were “very satisfied” with the agreement reached with Apollo as a “long-term strategic partner”. According to sources in the operation, it is still pending approval from the authorities and is expected to close in the middle of the year.
