We spoke with the Foreign Minister of Argentina, Santiago Cafiero, who participated in the meeting of ministers of Foreign Affairs of the IX Summit of the Americas that took place in the United States. Cafiero spoke, among other topics, about the role of Argentina in the Summit and its position regarding the exclusion of Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua from the event. He also emphasized that, although he considers it an achievement that the Summit took place, “the depth of its conclusions is debatable.”
