One of the series that remained for the memory of viewers is The Ingalls family, a story that, in 1974, won the hearts of its fans for its characters, plot and chapters, led by a cast that was just starting on TV.
Set in the old western United States, its nine seasons showed us the love of a family led by Charles Ingalls, character who was played by Michael Landon, and how its members had to survive with the social, economic and political changes of the time.
After passing through the small screen and 46 years after the premiere of the first episode, part of the cast of The Ingalls family decided to meet via Zoom to talk and remember anecdotes from the show.
In the talk, you can see Melissa Gilbert, Alison Arngrim, Dean Butler, Charlotte Stewart, Hersha Parady, Wendi Turnbaugh, Pamela Roylance, Dave Friedman and Radames Pera, actors who were part of a virtual panel organized by Wizard World Virtual Experiences 2021.
The organizer of the event was Gilbert herself, who, through her social networks, promoted the reunion with her colleagues: “Hello everyone! This is about to happen. I’m so excited! I can’t wait to see you all, say hello, and answer your questions about Little house on the prairie, ”wrote the remembered Laura Ingalls.
The great absentees from the meeting
While fans expected to see the most iconic actors from The Ingalls Family, the one who decided not to be part of this talk was Karen Grassle (Caroline Ingalls). The last time the artist was heard from was last year, when she reappeared on YouTube reading children’s stories.
The other interpreter who was not present was Melissa sue anderson. The 58-year-old actress who gave life to Mary Ingalls has been away from television for years and, from what was known, it is not the first time she has decided not to participate in an event of this type.
