Jürgen Damm’s arrival in America was harshly judged. The Mexican came from a terrifying stint with Atlanta United of the MLS and seemed to not have the necessary credentials to wear the colors of the Coapa nest. Despite this, and due to the need for reinforcements, the director of the team from the country’s capital opened the door to give him a chance, however, the Mexican has not had any relevance within the club.
Since his arrival, Jürgen has been relegated to the bench. The Mexican winger hasn’t had the nerve to fully compete for a starting position, but this semester the player has practically not added minutes, because with Zendejas and Leo Suárez in the area of the field where he plays, his presence within the squad is the rest. So much so, that after a bad move on the part of the player, the club has decided to separate him from the first team and practically sign him out in the summer market.
Jürgen would have refused to make the trip to Guadalajara for the Chivas match knowing that regardless of the player, he was not going to add minutes in the match. The club did not like the player’s refusal at all and now that they are getting ready to face León, they have decided to separate Damm from the rest of his teammates. There will be talks to end his contract from now on and he will not wait until June, the date on which it ends and the Mexican will be a free agent.
