Health notifies 24,753 new positives and 44 deaths
The fifth wave of covid-19 continues to deflate little by little in Spain. The accumulated incidence of the virus fell again this Friday to 687.30 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days, nine points less than the previous day, and confirms that the contagion curve is bending.
The Ministry of Health has notified this Friday 24,753 new positives and has added 44 deaths to the total number of deaths since the beginning of the health crisis, which already amounts to 81,486.
There are currently 9,825 patients admitted for Covid-19 throughout Spain and 1,698 in an ICU, although in the last 24 hours there have been 1,349 admissions and 1,240 discharges. The occupancy rate for beds occupied by coronavirus stands at 8.24 percent and in ICUs at 18.31 percent.
