Hospital occupancy is reduced by a third, up to 39 admitted patients, 12 of them in the ICU
The fall of the Covid-19 curve continued apace last week in the Region of Murcia. The 14-day incidence of the coronavirus plummeted almost 20 points (27.6% more), to 46.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The rate is thus equal to the national average and has been at low risk levels since Saturday, which prompted the relaxation of measures agreed on Monday by the Covid Monitoring Committee.
Active cases also follow a descending line and stand at 557. Another favorable record is left by the positivity rate, which has established between 1% and 2%, which reaffirms that transmission is controlled in the Region of Murcia . In this sense, the
instantaneous basic reproductive number (Rt), which marks 0.73, the lowest levels since late winter, after the harsh restrictions by the third wave.
