The incident occurred on Sunday at 02:20 Moscow time at the capital’s Sheremetyevo airport. It was reported that the plane stood for a long time before flying to Antalya and many on board allegedly felt sick, which is why one of the passengers decided to open the aircraft door on his own. After the incident, the passengers were disembarked from the plane and the airline decided to replace the aircraft. As a result, the departure delay was four hours.
The airline created a commission to investigate the incident, and also announced that they intend to recover damages from the passenger who opened the plane door in court.
