They ask for the support of workers, suppliers, clients and citizens in general to join the protest
The association of hoteliers of Lorca Hostelor called a demonstration “of penance for the ordeal we are suffering,” its president, Jesús Abellaneda, said on Tuesday. The call will be at 11 am in the Huerto de la Rueda where a manifesto will be read to later walk through Juan Carlos I Avenue.
The hoteliers asked for the support of workers, suppliers, customers and the general public to join the protest over the closure of their businesses imposed by the health authorities due to the increase in coronavirus infections.
Abellaneda said that “the hospitality industry is criminalized by punishing it with senseless measures.” He wondered where is the rescue plan for the sector “that corresponds to us” for having its businesses closed.
