An immortal classic
In 1968, Polanski premiered “Rosemary’s Baby”. As acclaimed as it was criticized, this film was a boom in its time and, without a doubt, it is one of the most famous works of the filmmaker and of Mia Farrow, the actress in whom the leading role fell. What is the film about?
Wishing to form your family, Rosemary Woodhouse —a young Catholic housewife— and her husband, guy —a struggling actor—, move into The Bramford: the iconic New York building famous for unsavory stories of dark and ghastly happenings.
The pair soon befriend their eccentric neighbors. Shortly after, Rosemary becomes pregnant. Little by little, however, alarming signs of a sinister and well-planned conspiracy begin to emerge, enveloping the timid protagonist in a cloak of suspicion and mental agony.
Why is everyone so conveniently willing to help? And why does Guy seem so comfortable with it?
We don’t want to spoil more details for you so as not to make major spoilers, but “Rosemary’s Baby” is an unmissable bet that you should not miss. You can find it through Apple TV Plus.
