Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (TFR) Alexander Bastrykin on Monday, October 10, instructed to initiate a criminal case due to the illegal, in his opinion, initiation of a criminal case in Ukraine against Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, the RF IC reports.
“As it became known, the SBU announced D.A. Medvedev is wanted, such information follows from the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. It is reported that the SBU charges him under Part 2 of Art. 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” reads the message departments in the Telegram channel.
On that day, the Ukrainian Security Service put Medvedev and the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, on the wanted list. They are accused under the article on encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, committed by a representative of the authorities. Medvedev, in this regard, is classified as a person who “is hiding from the pre-trial investigation authorities.”
On October 6, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia gave a guarantee to continue to liberate the territories occupied by the neo-Nazis of Ukraine. As he stressed, Ukraine is a technical tool, and its population is “expendable material in the theater of war chosen by the West.”
A day earlier, the SBU issued an accusation against the acting governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo, as well as his deputy Ekaterina Gubareva. They are accused by the Security Service of Ukraine of “collaboration activities, organization and conduct of political events, information activities”, which are aimed at supporting the Russian Federation.
Ukraine put on the wanted list those involved in the organization of referendums on the entry of the Lugansk, Donetsk People’s Republics, as well as Zaporozhye and Kherson regions into the Russian Federation. This information appeared on September 28.
On February 24, the President of the Russian Federation announced the start of the SVO to protect the civilian population of Donbass. Moscow took this step because of the aggravated situation on the territory of the LDNR against the backdrop of shelling by the Ukrainian military.
