His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received an Afghan delegation headed by Sirajuddin Haqqani, Minister of Interior.
During the meeting, which took place at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi, the two sides discussed strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries and ways to develop them in a way that achieves common interests and contributes to the stability of the region, especially in the economic and developmental fields and supporting reconstruction and development in Afghanistan.
For his part, the Afghan Minister of Interior expressed his happiness at meeting with His Highness the President, praising the distinguished relations between the UAE and Afghanistan.
