“It has everything …” said the song we were listening to on the platform. How not to go then to the Sports Supply? That was clearly the north for an amateur fisherman like my old man and there we went. The surprise was capital for my 11 years old when with the purchase they gave us some coupons for the games of the Sports City of Boca (just my old man’s club, who was fighting to make me forget my academic passion). We had once heard Uncle Roberto talk about Alberto J. Armando’s project and that at his Libertador car dealership he had been so convincing that both he and Uncle Horacio bought individual equity bonds to support the construction of the new stadium on an island overlooking the Río de la Plata. So it was not difficult for us to convince the family to head towards the Costanera Sur one Sunday, in order to experience the sensation of getting dizzy in the giant cups or being scared on the Ghost Train, not to mention the bumper cars . My old man 1600 seemed to complain as he climbed one of the green bridges at the entrance. From then on, a very little tango downhill, as it was all pleasure. On one side the fountain of dancing waters, in front the confectionery and then along a winding path, go through the pools, the fishermen’s island and beyond the mechanical games.
Great was my disappointment when a few days ago I heard that a large complex of buildings would be built on that site, which would demolish what remains, along with the dreams of the new stadium and the artificial archipelago that at some point, with my few years, had made me to believe that Holland and its polders were nothingness itself. Today, the uncles are gone and their bonds have no equity value. The old man left us a few years ago, when his sick heart asked him to go fishing in other waters. The ghost train disappeared and some state mistakes have created ghost stations and towns, which are more scary than that. The cars were replaced by real crash drivers. And life brought us the task of climbing steeper slopes than the one that was overcome in 1600. The fatality of progress does not know about childhoods, stories, popular culture or the meaning of beauty, it only rescues the utilitarian above others. values. There are no more echoes of the old football hymns; parks cannot resist the voracity of cement and 11-year-old children ignore the “has everything” of those businesses that together with your purchase gave you tickets or coupons, golden tickets to lost paradises. “It’s life!” A realistic friend tells me and with his hand on my shoulder, without knowing it, he caresses the happiness of those moments.

He proposes that he be vaccinated in pharmacies against Covid-19
Stunned we are seeing the vaccination ineffectiveness. In the countries to be imitated, pharmacies are in charge of vaccinating against Covid-19. In Argentina we have 13,500 pharmacies scattered throughout the country. A simple calculation: at a modest rate of 80 vaccinated per pharmacy average day, it would exceed one million vaccinated. That is, 30 million a month. It’s that easy, in a single month it would be possible to end this unjustifiable debt that the Government has with the citizens.
Lords of power, do not play around with dates anymore, adjusting vaccinations to your political campaigns. Their consciences will grieve them all their lives if they continue with this diabolical strategy.
To stop voting blindly, ask for mandatory debates
The transgression of the law is in general an issue linked to the field of sociopathology, but we should not tear our clothes with situations strictly linked to current politics because these “anomalies” have been accompanying us perhaps since the murder of Mariano Moreno to date. We have coexisted for more than 200 years in the framework of a cabaret republiqueta that places the equation of placing power above the law. Obviously, these “operations” such as the VIP vaccination and the Olivos festival scandal are highly reprehensible, so we should begin to reflect on how to transform this inconvenient logic for citizen coexistence.
One possible solution could be to stop voting blindly; This is to know the ideas of the pre-candidates and candidates through the obligatory nature of a public debate, through which citizens have the opportunity to have a transparent vision and an active participation in the “perception” of the intellectual and ethical capacity of their representatives.
“Poorer and more ignorant, more slaves of the State”
It is surprising how scandalized we are at the fact that the teacher from La Matanza tries to teach Peronist indoctrination. I wonder what difference exists with the daily sayings that Vice President Cristina Fernández and many of her henchmen proclaim hate. I remember the Peronist indoctrination books in the 1950s. The teacher is nothing more than the result of verticalism, of totalitarian and fascist ideas from which we have not been able to free ourselves. It is the result of teacher unions that take the student hostage and their union as a political party opposed to any hint of democracy.
I am a licensed professor in dermatology, it took me five more years to study and pass a doctoral thesis. When I saw the kind of teaching that was being given and the results of the indoctrination and disinterest of the students, I decided not to be part of the system. My title of authorized teacher is in the faculty and I do not plan to withdraw it. I am not part of the educational fascism that is now more than 70 years old. This type of education engenders slaves of a leader, loss of freedom and free thought. It is consistent with this government that has closed schools and melted businesses, the poorer and more ignorant, the more slaves of the state. In a country where you vote for a plate of food, there is no democracy, we are not free. A country of ignorant people is a country of slaves. Oh Sarmiento !.

Denmark, its embassy and profound differences
The Danish embassy disappears from Argentina. For me it is a new example of our economic and political decline. I don’t know Denmark, I know about its Viking past. Where I could best see him is in the series “Borgen”, where they clearly show his human condition. But there are very deep differences with us, which have to do with limits and respect for the law.
I was very amused to see in the series that a minister receives two hunting shotguns as a gift from a manufacturer of combat aircraft that Denmark was interested in buying. As it seemed a bribe, the minister had to return the hunting guns, or resign. When we have billionaire officials who own hotel chains, fields and properties, with investments abroad who, nevertheless, continue in key positions of the national administration. That difference marks and denounces the reasons for our decline.
The lack of a serious judicial power, the lack of an honest political power, is dragging us towards the abyss of insignificance. We have a middle-class population that is still resisting its demise and entrepreneurs who can turn our history upside down. We need a new political stage to begin, leaving behind seventies fanaticism and outdated theories.
