During the past season of Colombian soccer, one of the most outstanding players was Jaminton Campaz, star forward of Deportes Tolima, who after participating in the Copa América is waiting for his move to international football. Several teams would have asked about his services, but in particular the Portoalegre Guild I would have already bid for him.
Negotiations between both teams have already advanced a lot, however the refusal of the Tolima leadership to hand over their sports rights at a value that they consider insufficient, would be for the moment the great obstacle for Campaz to see an “immortal tricolor”, as revealed in the program “Esporte” of Radio Bandeirantes.
“We are interested in this player. We know everything about him. We have recruiters in Colombia. He has a good prospect for the future. But the club (Tolima) needs to want to sell him.”, said the president of the Brazilian club, Romildo Bolzan, who in turn stressed that they do not know the real interest of the red and gold painting to sell to Campaz, despite the progress in their dialogues.
A possible alternative for Gremio in case of not specifying Campaz would be another Colombian striker, Diego Valoyes, who currently plays for Talleres de Córdoba in Argentina.
