The Government will regularize the situation of migrants who were affected by the passage of the DANA through Valencia in October 2024, which resulted in more than 220 deaths. It is an extraordinary measure that the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations had been studying for a while and that will be approved on Tuesday in the Council of Ministers to benefit around 25,000 immigrants without papers.
As has advanced The country, and have confirmed 20 minutes government sources, regularization will be carried out through Residence authorizations “due to exceptional circumstances.” Those foreigners who were registered could request it – or had an appointment to do so – in one of the more than 80 municipalities razed by the cold drop before November 4. A permission to which the spouses, minor children of the applicant or adult children with some type of disability may also opt.
