The Minister in charge of Industry, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, will examine “with benevolence” the request of several trade federations to be able to open every Sunday in December.
The government says it is in favor of the Sunday opening request presented by several trade federations for the month of December, Minister responsible for Industry Agnès Pannier-Runacher said on Sunday (November 22) on Radio J.
“We look at this approach in a favorable way, especially since it allows to respect the gauges, there is a health interest”, did she say.“So we will look with kindness on this request. But what is our compass is the balance between economic and health”, added the minister.
Regarding possible extensions of opening in the early evening, which some federations wish, “This will also be the result of a consultation. But let’s not fall on the other side of the horse and the government’s idea is not to take advantage of an extraordinary situation to move the lines of labor law”, she warned.
