Lorella Goggi’s words for Raffaella Carrà
My dear all, I am shocked by the news of the birth in Heaven of our Raffaella Carrà. As in France the female image of the Republic, the Marianne, has often been depicted by many artists such as B. Bardot, M. Mercier, M. Mauthieu, C. Deneuve, so Italy could very well have the face of Raffaella.
The budding of our friendship was growing from the day we opened up in an interview on his program, “A Telling You Begin”. Our work often leads us to lose contact, but the gift of that meeting of ours I will take with me holding it tight.
I have not seen any of my memories linked to Raffaella in TV programs and in newspapers, I preferred to let Sergio and his assistant know my pain directly. I am in Ostuni, I contemplate the sky and the sea that merge on the horizon and I think of Raffaella. Since yesterday we Italians have all been incredulous.
Who knows with how much gratitude his soul is struggling with God, star among the stars forever. I share with you that you are an artist loved by God, this reflection of mine that becomes a prayer for Raffaella.
