Cea, a town of about 2,000 inhabitants in the province of Ourense, is a kind of mecca for Galician bread. The town has been famous for its loaves for centuries: they started back in the 13th century, by 1750 there were already 82 bakers here, and since 2004 They have their own IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) which ensures that traditional forms of production are respected.
