A total of 21,355 companies, entities and citizens of the Region of Murcia already have 1,057 million euros of European funds from the Recovery Plan, of which 788 million come from calls made by the General State Administration, 197 million from those resolved by the Autonomous Community with the resources allocated in the Sectoral Conferences and 72 million tendered by the municipal corporations, as reported by the Government delegate.
Mariola Guevara announced this Friday the launch of Elisa, a tool launched by the Government of Spain that makes updated information available to citizens and analysts on the execution of the Recovery Plan investments.
«It is a very useful tool that guarantees monitoring and transparency in the execution of the Recovery Plan, with free access to citizens and offers updated and detailed information on the evolution of the Recovery Plan investments based on public data. extracted from the National Subsidies Base and the Public Sector Contracting Platform,” said Guevara.
The Government delegate took advantage of the launch of Elisa to report that, of the 808 million euros assigned by the Government of Spain to the Autonomous Community for its direct management, it has summoned a total of 391 million and has awarded 197 million, with a 50% resolution rate.
«In addition, from the analysis of the website we can extract data such as that municipal corporations have called for 114 million euros and resolved for a value of 72 million or that 48% of the beneficiaries in the Region of Murcia are microenterprises and SMEs, followed by foundations. , with 32%,” he added.
Guevara indicated that the largest volume of investments has been awarded to sustainable infrastructure projects, with 38%, followed by those on the urban and rural agenda, with 18%, and modernization of the industrial fabric, with 14%.
The Government delegate stated that the new tool, accessible through the Recovery Plan website, allows monitoring the execution of European funds through the analysis of public data from the National Subsidies Database (BDNS) and the Public Sector Procurement Platform (PLACSP), which are exploited through automated web page data collection techniques ('web scraping') and machine learning ('machine learning').
In this sense, the Elisa tool allows monitoring of calls for tenders and subsidies with Next Generation EU funds, as well as their resolution, both those managed directly by the General Administration of the State, and those transferred to the Autonomous Communities. through Sectoral Conferences and those carried out by local corporations.
At the national level they have reached 627,000 citizens and companies
At the national level, nearly 34.4 billion euros have been allocated to companies and households and, therefore, have already reached the real economy. The information obtained through this database confirms that Recovery Plan funds are reaching the real economy at cruising speed. Specifically, a total of 627,237 citizens, institutions and companies have received funds from the Recovery Plan until the end of February, of which 38% are microbusinesses and SMEs.
We are halfway through the execution period of the Recovery Plan and around 50% of the nearly 70,000 million euros allocated to Spain in the first phase of the Recovery Plan have already been awarded.
