The Francisco de la Hera de Almendralejo will host the Gévora – Betis de Copa

The Gévora Sports Club, Betis’s rival in the First Round of the Copa del Rey, announced throughout this Thursday that the match scheduled for next Thursday, October 31 at 9 p.m. was not going to be played at the Nuevo Vivero de Badajoz. And finally, it will be Francisco de la Hera of Almendralejo the one that gives rise to the first of Betis’ matches in the Copa del Rey. It will be the second time it has done so in the last two years, since it also hosted the Hernán Cortés – Betis match in the first round of the 2023-24 season.

It should be remembered that in the first instance, it was Badajoz that negotiated the transfer of its facility to be able to host the match, but these did not culminate in an agreement and Gévora has moved in that direction in the last few hours to finish off the management and thus give room for the Betic team in its return to the KO tournament. The idea is to make the announcement official this Friday so that the fans can organize themselves with two weeks left until the contest.

Now, Francisco de la Hera from Almendralejo will be the one to finally host this Betis cup debut, just one day after the celebration of the ANDxtremadura – Gironawhich will also be played there. So there will be two games in a row in the aforementioned Extremaduran fiefdom, which on the one hand will host Míchel’s team, also at 9:00 p.m., and the next day will do the same with Pellegrini’s squad.
