Moscow is hoping for the prudence of the European Union (EU) on the issue of imposing sanctions against Russia. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Alexander Pankin, reports RIA News.
“We hope that, unlike Washington’s approach in the “sanction field”, which is devoid of any adequacy, prudence will still prevail in Brussels,” the diplomat concluded. He noted that the stability of the international financial system itself would suffer from the introduction of restrictive measures against Moscow.
