The Flash will be the last movie from Ezra Miller in the role of the character, apparently: according to a report by Deadline, the personal events of the actor convinced Warner Bros. to exclude him from the next projects related to the DC Extended Universe.
A few months after the spectacular trailer for The Flash at the DC FanDome, unfortunately another bad news arrives for fans of the DC heroes, who greeted the Superman by Henry Cavill, il Cyborg by Ray Fisher and il Batman by Ben Affleck, who should make his last appearance in this film.
Involved in several controversial episodes in recent months, Ezra Miller is arrested last March for harassment, then again in April for assault. Finally, a few weeks ago, he ran away with a girl and was accused by her parents of having fundamentally misled her.
Obviously, the situation is not the best for the actor or even for Warner Bros., which has invested hundreds of millions in projects involving Miller, including the saga of Fantastic Beastsand fears strongly that the actor’s personal stories may have a negative impact on The Flash’s takings.
