While some figures like Rodolfo Pizarro and Carlos Salcedo are back in Liga MX, others like Chicharito and Carlos Vela are taking charge of standing out in the American league.
These players are making their mark in MLS and they don’t plan to stop anytime soon.
Every year, the LA Galaxy youth squad reaches a career high point. Alvarez has capitalized on his natural talent as a left-footed attacking midfielder to become a key figure in Greg Vanney’s team.
He has two goals and three assists in 18 games this season, working alongside Chicharito and Dejan Joveljic to lead the LA Galaxy to seventh place in the Western Conference.

The Lompoc, California native has become a fixture for Greg Vanney’s side in rebuilding the five-time MLS Cup champion. He has played in 18 games this season, recording four assists and seven shots on goal. His perseverance on the ball and ability to consistently generate dangerous serves earn him a spot on this list. Araujo stands out as a talent to follow who gradually builds his way to stardom.
The LAFC player continues to amaze. Vela began his MLS career in 2018 and quickly proved his worth as a league star in 2019, capturing the club’s first official title and being awarded the league’s Most Valuable Player, with 30 goals in 31 games.
Despite having his 2021 season cut short by a major injury, he has come back as strong as before, recording six goals and eight assists in 17 games this season and leading Los Angeles to second place in the Western Conference table.
