According to the official schedule published by Mediaset, the anime series of FIRE FORCE will air on the digital television network Italy 2 during this fall, more precisely starting from September every Wednesday from 9.20pm to 11pm on first run, with the reruns aired every Thursday from 11.10pm to 1.00am. Presumably, each evening they will be broadcast well five episodes in a row.
The debut evening of FIRE FORCE on Italia 2 will therefore be Wednesday 8 September. As is customary for the souls broadcast by Mediaset broadcasters, the series will be dubbed in our language, but we don’t know if it will keep the original theme songs or if we will find ourselves listening to a piece in Italian made especially for the occasion. The animated series of FIRE FORCE currently has two seasons, for a total of 48 episodes (24 episodes for each of the two seasons). It is not yet clear if they will all be shown on this occasion, or if we will have to wait a certain amount of time between one season and another.
Taken from the manga by Atsushi Ōkubo, made his debut as an assistant to Rando Ayamine for the series of Get Backers and came into the limelight with Soul Eater, FIRE FORCE tells the story of a special force of firefighters who fight the accidents of spontaneous human combustion in a futuristic Tokyo. The main character is Shinra Kusakabe, a member of the Fire Force who has the power to voluntarily set his feet on fire and has earned the nickname of “Footprints of the Devil”.
The rights to the animated series of FIRE FORCE belong to Yamato Video, which broadcast the series in simulcasting with Italian subtitles on its YouTube channel and the series is still available for viewing. Below we propose the trailer of the series, followed by the official synopsis.
