Ministry of Emergency Situations: area of fire in a warehouse in St. Petersburg increased to 12 thousand square meters
The fire area in a warehouse in the village of Metallostroy in the Kolpinsky district in the south-east of St. Petersburg doubled to 12,000 square meters. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city in its Telegram-channel.
“In a warehouse building measuring 100 by 240 meters, 12 meters high, building materials are burning on an area of 12,000 square meters,” the report says.
There were no reports of casualties.
As reported TASS In the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 160 people and 45 pieces of equipment, including a fire train, are involved in extinguishing the fire. A mobile laboratory was also sent to the scene to monitor air measurements.
