The Felipe VI sports complex opened a toy library on Wednesday to favor the reconciliation of users. It has capacity for 22 children from 3 to 11 years old and will operate from Monday to Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The little ones will be able to enjoy activities such as storytelling, playing table football, dressing up or doing homework and school tasks, helped by monitors, while their parents play sports.
The Councilor for Sports, Irene Jódar, explained that the new service has been set up in the cafeteria area to “meet the socio-educational and family reconciliation needs” of Lorca while promoting sports practice. To access the toy library, managed by Iniciativas El Gigante, it will not be necessary to make a prior reservation. The price will be 2.50 euros per hour and five and ten hour vouchers have been enabled, which do not expire.
