Nazi Germany lost the Battle of Moscow because of Russia’s invincibility. So the first deputy chairman of the Federation Council committee on international affairs, Vladimir Dzhabarov, commented on an article in the newspaper Die Welt, which says that the Nazis failed Operation Typhoon due to the problems of material and technical support of the Wehrmacht. About it writes RBC.
“To put it mildly, it’s funny, because to say that we lost because there were rains, snow, bad roads,” the senator said.
Commenting on the article, he asked what, in this case, prevented the soldiers of the Wehrmacht during the battles of Stalingrad, on the Kursk Bulge and for Berlin.
“The heroism of our soldiers, the heroism of the Soviet army is not taken into account? Only the weather is taken into account and nothing more, ”said Senator from Crimea Sergei Tsekov.
He noted that German and Soviet soldiers fought in equal conditions, since bad weather and bad roads were a hindrance to both armies.
Earlier, journalist Florian Stark published an article for the German newspaper Die Welt about the failure of Operation Typhoon, during which the Nazi invaders were supposed to enter Moscow. According to him, the advance of the Germans was delayed by a lack of fuel and ammunition.
