After months of anticipation, yesterday a new gameplay of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which gave us a great look at the game mechanics and, unfortunately for many, its game-as-a-service elements were confirmed. As expected, the public did not react positively to this revelation.
Through social networks, fans expressed their concerns, and immediately compared to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League with Marvel’s Avengers, game that had a mixed reception. This was what was discussed:
“I bought Marvel’s Avengers and after the campaign I never released the game again.
I bought Gotham Knights and played it for only about 3 hours.
Watching the Suicide Squad game and thinking I should probably learn my lesson and not buy that type of game anymore.”

“2020 – From the developer of the single-player trilogy, Tomb Raider, comes Avengers, a live-service superhero action game for four players.
I’m good

“I’m still mad about that Suicide Squad game. They could have made a fun cooperative game with Arkham mechanics, but instead decided to make it a copy of Avengers with Anthem’s hover/fly mechanics.”

“I’m not trying to defend Marvel’s Avengers or anything, but I think it’s funny that everyone and their moms yelled that Suicide Squad would be what ‘Avengers should have been’ and now look Lmaooo.”
Genuinely feel sorry for suicide squad game fans, but DC deserved its own Avengers to maintain the balance.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League It is one that, although it allows you to finish it completely by yourself, has a great focus on multiplayer, it will have an aesthetic battle pass, it needs a connection at all times to work, and will receive support after its release. While it sounds like it won’t be as big of a game-as-a-service as Destiny or Marvel’s Avengersit does have elements that fans don’t like.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League It will arrive on PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC on May 26, 2023. On related topics, you can see the new gameplay of the game here.
Editor’s Note:
At the end of the day, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League It seems that it will continue to offer a full campaign and, as far as we know, it does not have raids or any type of end game content that turns off more games more service.
