The magical godfathers is one of Nickelodeon’s most successful animated series. With a total of 10 seasons and many specials, he has managed to enchant his fans and continue to give something to talk about. This time he does it with the announcement of a live action version.
In reality, the show has already started filming and it didn’t take long for several details about the plot and cast to come to light, although the date of its premiere on the Paramount + streaming service is unknown.
The fact that draws the most attention is that the protagonist will not be Timmy Turner, but that the story will be located several years after the animated series and will focus on cousin Viv (Audrey Grace Marshall) and her stepbrother Roy (Tyler Wladis).
Both will have the support of Wanda and Cosmo, Timmy’s magical godparents, in a production full of magic, impossible made possible and threats of all kinds. The identity of the villain is kept secret.
Faced with criticism for Timmy’s absence, the possibility remains that the character could have a special appearance. However, this would probably not be played by Drake Bell due to recent complaints against him.
In addition to Audrey Grace Marshall and Tyler Wladis, it is revealed that Susanne Baslee and Daran Norris will return to lend their voices to the godparents. Laura Bell Bundy will be Roy’s mother and Ryan-James Hatanaka will be Viv’s father.
