In theaters in a year
After much talking the new film about Formula 1created in collaboration with Circus himself and which also involves Lewis Hamilton’s company Dawn Apollo Films among the producers, finally has a exit date: the film will in fact be distributed in cinemas by Warner Bros. Pictures internationally on June 25, 2025 and in North America on June 27, 2025.
The film has caused a lot of discussion and there are great expectations about it given that the crew was allowed to move with almost unlimited access within the paddock and the F1 starting grid itselfwith the fictional 11th team featured in the film – APXGP – which was treated by Liberty Media itself as a sort of real team additional to the ten actually present on the track.
Brad Pitt protagonist
The making of the film, which has in Brad Pitt the brightest star of the castwas also rloosened by the protests involving cinema workers’ unions in America. Production of the film, which began in 2023, will continue at this summer’s British Grand Prix and several other races, before concluding with December’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman (Top Gun: Maverick and the Pirates of the Caribbean series).
