To build a fast car, you have to start with a fast car. So for Manhart’s fiercest outfit of the BMW M2 you would think that they would use the most powerful version as the basis. But no, the BMW M2 CS (with 450 hp as standard) they only gave 600 hp. They are now pumping up this BMW M2 Competition with 410 hp to 630 hp and 750 Nm. On the other hand, if you’re going to replace everything anyway, you might as well take the cheapest one. They call the result the Manhart MH2 630.
This is actually Manhart’s farewell to the second-generation M2, so the tuner has really pulled out all the stops. The extra power comes from new turbos, an upgraded intercooler and new software for the ECU. A new exhaust with an active valve is not missing. In the interior, Manhart pops out an air vent for a new meter. This way you can see whether everything is still going well with the 3.0-liter six-in-line.
Look at that monstrous rear wing of the M235i race car. And then there’s the interior with a roll cage, nice Recaro fairings and even more roll cage where there was once a back seat. The brakes under the Manhart MH2 630 are from an M4 GT4 race car and there is an adjustable KW damper kit. The wheels are 19-inch aluminum units and the gold stripes are optional. Do you dare to take this Manhart MH2 630 to the Nordschleife?
