International Master of Sports in Athletics Valeria Andreeva advised older people on a way to prolong longevity through sports. Her words lead RIAMO.
Andreeva explained that regular physical activity is directly related to increased life expectancy. “Cardio training on machines, a treadmill and an elliptical trainer allow you to effectively maintain physical activity without undue stress on your joints and spine,” the specialist noted.
She also suggested doing aerobic exercise (running, swimming, cycling) to improve cardiovascular function. Strength training will help strengthen your muscles and bones, while stretching and yoga will improve flexibility and balance and reduce stress.
Previously, Russians were given a way to create sculpted abs after 50 years. To do this, they recommended doing crunches, leg raises, burpees, as well as a rock climbing exercise.
