the number of people who have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus (including recovered and died) since the outbreak began. THE deaths today I’m 85
(yesterday there were 83), for a total of 133,415 victims from February 2020.

More infections in 24 hours than yesterday: the threshold of 12,000 had not been exceeded since May 1st. As usual, the fluctuating curve grows in the middle of the week. The trend remains on the rise and can be seen from the comparison with last Wednesday (November 17) – the same day of the week – when they were recorded +10,172 cases with a positive rate of 1.9%: today, in fact, there are more new infections than that day, with a higher percentage (2.2% versus 1.9%).
There Lombardy back to over 2 thousand cases / day: it hadn’t happened since May 6. But to see over 2,200 in the region – a similar number to today, equal to +2,207 infected – we need to go back to April 30 (then it was +2,214). The positive rate in Lombardy is 1.9%, lower than the national one, thanks to almost 114 thousand swabs, which is the highest number of regional tests of the day (here the bulletin). More than one thousand follows: Veneto (+1.931 cases with 2.1% rate), Lazio (+1.283 with a 2.5% rate, here the bulletin) and Emilia Romagna (+1.058 cases with 2.9% rate).
