The two teenagers who disappeared in Genoa on April 9 returned home: a report to the police turned out to be well founded.
The two adolescentthose who disappeared in Genoa this week have been found. Federica Sciarelli dealt with the case on Tuesday's episode, hosting Federico's parents and raising the alarm. The appeal of Who has seen? it paid off and the two boys were traced to Seveso, in Lombardy.
Federico and Emilja, 16 and 15 years old, had disappeared on April 9th during a trip to Genoa. Accompanied by their parents at the train stations, the two, coming respectively from Scandiano and Sanremo, once reunited, disconnected their cell phones and disappeared.
Federico had sent a message to his father that same evening with the words: “I am fine“. The parents received no further news for three days and their hearts were now full of anxiety and anguish over what might have happened to the boys. In Tuesday's appeal they begged the boys to go home and that they would not be punished for their action. Not knowing where the children had spent the night and knowing they were at the mercy of possible ill-intentioned people was frightening.
A telephone reporting allowed the police to track down the teenagers in Seveso, in the province of Monza Brianza and bring them home. So the nightmare is over for the parents, who have nothing left to do but give the kids a good scolding.
Adolescence it is a very particular period in an individual's life. The hormonal revolution, the desire to assert one's independence combined with a profound conflict with authority, can generate such episodes. There are many cases of young people who voluntarily leave home, throwing their family members into panic. However, we must be vigilant and pay the utmost attention to ensure that these cases are resolved in the shortest time possible to guarantee the safety of the children.
Fortunately, the story ended with a happy ending and Federico and Emilja are safe in their homes amidst the love of their parents.
