The Emirates Public Administration Association held a meeting for the General Assembly, through the Microsoft Teams application, in the presence of the founder and chairman of the association, members of the council and the association, Dr. Ahlam Al Hosani, in addition to a representative of the Ministry of Community Development, to elect a new board of directors for the association for the next session 2021-2025, and to discuss its work plan in the new session.
At the beginning of the meeting, the president of the association welcomed the members of the association, explaining that the Emirates Association for Public Administration is one of the associations of public interest that are registered by the Ministry of Community Development by Ministerial Resolution No. 422 of 2016, which works to participate in achieving the development of individuals and institutions of society, where the vision of the association is embodied in Consolidating innovative leadership thought and practices through its mission, which works to invest administrative thought within modern innovative practices to create leadership competencies and institutional competition to achieve job happiness.
The members of the association approved the minutes of the previous general assembly meeting, and then Al Hosani reviewed the final report, which included the programs and activities that the association implemented during the last session. Community Development.
After that, the elections were held under the supervision of the representative of the Ministry of Community Development, where the results resulted in the winning of: Dr. Ahlam Al Hosani as Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, Dr. Hamed Al Neyadi as Vice President, Abeer Nasser as Secretary, Shamsa Al Marzouqi as Treasurer, and Dr. Maryam Al Raisi as Chairman of the Studies, Research and Applications Committee The Administrative Committee, Dr. Seif Darwish as Chairman of the Media Committee, Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Azazi as Chairman of the Training and Administrative Development Committee, Dr. Shafi’ Al Neyadi as Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Financial Resources and Community Partnerships, and Fatima Al-Mughni as Chairman of the Coordination and Follow-up Committee.
It is noteworthy that the association aims to develop and disseminate scientific thought in public administration and to provide advice, administrative expertise and necessary studies in accordance with the latest and best modern applications and practices for the concerned authorities inside and outside the country, and to provide an opportunity for workers in the administrative fields to contribute to the development of administrative progress. It also exchanges experiences, experts and administrative publications with organizations, bodies and associations. It also cooperates with the concerned authorities to conduct research and administrative studies with the aim of developing the job performance of individuals and institutions and building and activating organizational relations with local and international institutes and bodies to see the latest developments in administrative experiences and best management practices in order to transfer them locally to benefit from them.
