Bin Bayyah extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the State and Ruler of Dubai, and to their brothers, Their Highnesses, members of the Supreme Council, the rulers of the Emirates. Believe in him, strengthen him and support him, and follow the light that was sent down with him. Those are the successful.>
Bin Bayyah emphasized that celebrating the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday is an act in which there is no violation of the Sunnah or the revival of an innovation, other than that which the Sharia has witnessed as being, as Omar, may God be pleased with him, said: “This is an innovation.”
He mentioned that the Noble Prophet’s birthday is an opportunity to perfume the councils with his memory, to imitate his fragrant life, and to benefit from his glorious life, following his footsteps, imitating his effects, imitating his morals in obedience to the truth and mercy in creation. And his approach to mercy, love and sympathy, which are principles pursued by our state and our leadership, based on an ancient heritage and an ancient approach. We ask God to preserve our country and our leadership as a platform for tolerance and an excuse for coexistence, and to bring this memory back to our country, the Islamic world and all humanity with goodness, blessing and peace.
