The man who stole three baby kangaroos from Russian zoos, 31-year-old Ivan Nekrasov (known as a dwarf naturalist), used to steal small equipment and telephones. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to law enforcement agencies.
According to the agency, the man was charged with several petty thefts under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft”). According to RIA Novosti’s interlocutor, he stole small equipment and phones for further resale.
On October 1, it was reported that a baby kangaroo named Krosh was stolen from the Yaroslavl Zoo, and other two six-month-old animals were stolen from the Sparrows bird park in Kaluga. Some time ago, he decided to start a small business on kangaroos, as he was interested in various animals and dreamed of getting a rare monkey. On the Internet, Nekrasov found buyers for kangaroos. Then he entered the Yaroslavl and Kaluga zoos, where he committed the theft.
