Basurin announced the exit through the humanitarian corridor in Mariupol 188 people per day
Deputy Head of the People’s Militia (NM) Department of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Eduard Basurin, on the air of Channel One on Saturday, March 12, named the number of people who came out through the humanitarian corridor in Mariupol. This is reported TASS.
“Over the past 24 hours, 188 people, including the military, were able to leave Mariupol, including 26 children,” Basurin said. In total, more than 700 civilians were evacuated along the humanitarian corridor opened on March 5.
Earlier it became known that since the beginning of the military operation, the NM DPR has recaptured 84 cities and towns from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Trudovoye, Novotatarovka, Golubitskoye, Mangush, Berdyanskoye and Vodyanoye were named among the last settlements taken under control. In addition, the DPR forces liberated the city of Volnovakha and took control of three more settlements.
On February 24, Russia launched a military special operation to protect Donbass. During it, the Russian authorities “will strive for the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said. Earlier, the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics (LPR and DPR) were recognized by Russia as independent states.
