The production of ‘MotoGP Unlimited’, the documentary dedicated to MotoGP, was entrusted to Mediapro and the product will be broadcast on the Amazon Prime Video platform, as anticipated by Motorsport.com already last March. This series was recorded during the 2021 season and will consist of eight episodes of 50 minutes each, which will include the presence of MotoGP champions such as Valentino Rossi, Marc Marquez, Fabio Quartararo and Joan Mir, among others. There will also be team directors and key paddock figures.
The documentary, filmed by The Mediapro Studio, will show viewers what happens behind the scenes, from training sessions, to team meetings and the sporting and personal side of the protagonists’ everyday life. A production team was able to follow the riders on and off the track throughout the 2021 season, showing their most spectacular and also the most emotional moments, such as the farewell of Valentino Rossi in Valencia or the world title of Fabio Quartararo.
The MotoGP riders and the members of the paddock family will attend the premières that will take place in Madrid and Paris, where the documentary will be broadcast that will relive the best moments of an unforgettable and moving season for the farewell of Valentino Rossi. A press conference will take place in Madrid and two episodes will be broadcast on February 16 at the Cine Capitol, while two more episodes will be broadcast at the Elysees Biarritz in Paris the next day, on February 17.
“MotoGP Unlimited” is inspired in some way by the very successful series “Drive to Survive” dedicated to Formula 1. The championship hopes that this documentary will be a good attraction for the public, who in this way will have access to one of the most spectacular and exciting of the world.
