The medical worker noted that sandwiches with cheese and butter have a negative impact on the work of the heart and pancreas. According to him, the composition of the mentioned ingredients contains a lot of cholesterol and triglycerides, which accelerate the development of atherosclerosis of the blood vessels of the whole body.
Despite the harm of such sandwiches, the doctor urged not to refuse such a breakfast. “The diet should be more vegetable and less animal. Modern recommendations for cardioprophylaxis say: it is desirable that two out of three meals per day be vegetarian, ”the expert explained.
Earlier, dietitian Elena Solomatina said that white bread may contain trans fats, so the product can be dangerous for the brain and cause dementia. The expert advises to pay attention to the composition, and if there is margarine, it is better to choose another bread.
