Sukhorukova advised to avoid cottage cheese if you are allergic to milk proteins
Gastroenterologist at the Vidnovsky Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Moscow Region, Lyudmila Sukhorukova, advised against eating cottage cheese if you are allergic to milk proteins. She also told RIA Novostithat the product should be limited if a person is sensitive to lactose and experiences discomfort from cottage cheese.
“Special attention should be paid to the glycemic index of cottage cheese. True, this is true for people with type 2 diabetes. But healthy people should not be afraid of this index,” the expert noted.
She also pointed out that for patients with kidney disease there is a limit on the amount of cottage cheese, explaining that general recommendations for limiting protein in the diet apply to them.
“Even the healthiest foods should be eaten in moderation, and a healthy diet should be varied and balanced. You shouldn’t completely exclude cottage cheese from your diet, as it contains a lot of vitamins A and D, which are not found in vegetable fats,” Sukhorukova noted. In addition, the doctor said that fatty cottage cheese contains tryptophan – this amino acid helps to stay slim and get better sleep.
Earlier, nutritionist, doctor of medical sciences Mariyat Mukhina reported that dark grapes have many beneficial properties, including helping in the prevention of cancer. According to her, red grapes may help prevent cardiovascular problems because they contain large amounts of a substance called resveratrol.
