Viktor Dolzhenko, chairman of the Cossack Youth Union of the Kushchevsky District, a deputy of local self-government (LSU) from the United Russia party in the Krasnodar Territory, received a summons and went to participate in a special operation. “An agenda has arrived, according to which I should be called up for military service in connection with the decision of our President Vladimir Putin, who issued a decree on partial mobilization. And we arrived at the Molkino deployment point and are getting ready, ”he said.
Dolzhenko added that he had previously served in the military unit of the Republic of Abkhazia and that he had a position as a machine gunner. He goes to the special operation as a defender of the Fatherland.
“If the Motherland orders, we must answer: yes!” the deputy said.
He explained that lately “a lot of negative colors have been thickening over our country” and “these gangrenes that we have left since the Great Patriotic War” appear.
“But we, the younger generation, the current generation, must also protect the peaceful sky above our heads, as our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers did,” Dolzhenko summed up.
On September 24, it became known that the chairman of the Union of Donbass Volunteers, Alexander Boroday, joined the volunteer deputies to participate in Russia’s special operation to protect Donbass. The parliamentarian told Izvestia that, together with the organization, he “mobilized himself” at the very beginning of the special operation, and during this time the union has already organized five special detachments and three battalions.
On the same day, United Russia deputy Oleg Kolesnikov, who expressed his readiness to participate in a special military operation (SVO) to protect Donbass, said that after the announcement of mobilization, hiding behind deputy opportunities was uncomfortable and uncomfortable.
On September 21, the President of Russia addressed the citizens in which he announced the beginning of a partial mobilization. As Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu explained, this measure is necessary to control the territories previously liberated during a special operation in Ukraine.
During the first day of partial mobilization, more than 10,000 reserve officers arrived at the military registration and enlistment offices on their own, without waiting for a summons.
