The defense of the Executive of the Juan José Güemes Company Institute has submitted a letter in the Court of Instruction number 41 of Madrid to ask Judge Juan Carlos Peinado to file the case for him, as he ended up charged after being summoned as a witness … for a contradiction with a previous testimony that turned out not to be such. “The reasons why Mr. Güemes has the status of investigated in the present case, as informed by the instructor, have no basis,” says the letter, to which ABC had access.
Güemes, in times counselor of Health in Madrid with a PP government, was summoned as a witness in November last year in relation to the hiring of Begoña Gómez, wife of the President of the Government, to direct the Africa Center of the Institute of Business.
